Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes attorneys John Taylor and Alden Vogel in the firm’s Kansas City office. They are the eighth and ninth attorneys to join the Kansas City office in the last twelve months, enhancing the firm’s capabilities in Kansas and Missouri.
Taylor represents clients in complex commercial, premises liability, personal injury, and employment law. Prior to his career as an attorney, he utilized his degree in chemical engineering with an environmental emphasis as a construction materials tester and an environmental engineer. Taylor is experienced in environmental, renewing NPDES and POTW permits, and overseeing heavy metal treatment facilities for industrial waste flows. His knowledge of environmental compliance and chemical engineering provides his clients with invaluable insight when allegations involve environmental compliance and engineering.
Vogel represents clients in product liability, complex commercial, employment law, and personal injury litigation. His zealous strategic planning from the onset of litigation allows him to advise and guide his clients through complex, high-stakes cases in a collaborative and effective manner. In addition to his civilian legal practice, Alden has served in the Kansas Army National Guard for more than five years, both as a Medical Services Corps officer and now as a qualified Judge Advocate. This unique perspective strengthens his ability to navigate challenging situations with discipline and attention to detail.
