David W. Lloyd is a Partner in the Boise office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Trucking and Transportation practice groups.

David has over 20 years of experience in civil and administrative litigation, appellate advocacy, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings in both state and federal courts. As a Deputy Attorney General with the Idaho Attorney General’s Office, he litigated contract, employment, and civil rights cases before Idaho state administrative agencies and in Idaho state and federal courts. As an attorney in private practice, he has served as Lead Trial Counsel, representing clients in numerous complex commercial, construction, real property, and trust and estate disputes. David has extensive experience as Lead Appellate Counsel in Idaho District Courts, the Idaho Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also has extensive experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings in state and federal courts and serves as an Adjunct Faculty Professor at Concordia University School of Law teaching the Alternative Dispute Resolution Practicum.

Throughout his career, David has remained committed to legal education and community service. He has served as Co-Chair of Attorneys for Civic Education and as a long-time member of the Idaho State Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, providing legal education to both adults and high school students through the Citizen’s Law Academy and the Idaho High School Mock Trial Program. He serves as a volunteer attorney for the Idaho Volunteer Lawyer’s Program and has been recognized by the Idaho State Bar for his volunteer and community service, receiving the Idaho State Bar Service Award.
