John Eustermann brings to Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani a career that few energy lawyers can match: three decades of deal-making across the full clean-energy spectrum, on both sides of the table, long before renewable energy became a household term. As a partner at a nationally recognized firm, he led a Renewable Energy Practice Group and built an impressive book of business advising developers, suppliers, off-takers, and financiers on projects ranging from waste-to-energy and biomass to solar, wind, geothermal, and nuclear. He then spent more than a decade as an inaugural General Counsel for a series of venture- and private equity-backed clean-energy and sustainable agriculture companies, giving him an insider’s understanding of how deals are executed and what clients need from outside counsel.
