Jamar Q. Green is a seasoned and accomplished litigator with a wealth of diverse legal experience. Known for his exceptional advocacy skills, strategic acumen, and unwavering dedication to advancing his clients’ interests, Jamar has established an impressive track record of success in both civil and criminal matters.

At GRSM, Jamar’s practice focuses on a range of complex civil matters, including cyber privacy and data security, commercial litigation, employment law, professional liability, and product and general liability. Leveraging his extensive experience and keen analytical abilities, Jamar is adept at navigating the nuances of these dynamic practice areas, developing innovative legal strategies, and achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. Whether defending against high-stakes claims or guiding organizations through sensitive data breaches, Jamar is a trusted advisor who consistently delivers results aligned with his clients’ objectives.

Prior to joining the esteemed team at GRSM, Jamar worked at a highly esteemed regional and national firm. At the regional firm, he demonstrated his versatility and problem-solving abilities by defending clients against a wide range of complex claims, including commercial litigation, employment discrimination, professional liability, and transportation-related matters. Jamar’s crowning achievement during this time was securing the dismissal of a $29 million employment discrimination complaint through a meticulously crafted summary judgment motion. At the national firm, he continued to demonstrate his exceptional litigation skills in the areas of general liability, employment law, and insurance coverage.

A committed civil servant and member of the United States Navy Judge Advocate General Corps, Jamar’s diverse experience includes a 3-year activation to serve as a Victims’ Legal Counsel in San Diego, where he was lauded as an “outstanding officer” and “tireless advocate” for approximately 150 sexual assault and domestic violence victims. In this role, he completed 12 trials, earning praise as “the lawyer every client needs in their corner.”

Jamar’s servant leadership and zealous advocacy was forged during his first legal role as an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where his exceptional performance and legal prowess were consistently recognized. This includes being selected to present a model motion during the office’s prestigious Trial Advocacy Workshop, with the Deputy Director of Legal Training commending the “completely riveting” facts and “tightly focused and strongly argued” nature of his submission.

Throughout his career, Jamar has consistently displayed a keen intellect, a strategic mindset, and an unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients. His peers have taken note of his exceptional abilities, as evidenced by his recent selection to the prestigious 2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars list – a distinction reserved for only the top 2.5% of attorneys in the region.
