Rebecca “Beck” Patty is a talented attorney with more than 30 years of experience in environmental law.

Before joining GRSM, Rebecca spent many years as Assistant Attorney General/Associate General Counsel for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, where in her first year, she collected $1.5 million in penalties. She also collected more than $2 million in money owed to the citizens of Alabama through financial assurance litigation.

Rebecca assisted the Department of Justice, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in criminal convictions in a water pollution case. While excelling in her profession, Rebecca has also served as adjunct professor at different law schools, helping to prepare new attorneys for the challenges they will face in the legal field.
