GRSM Accelerates Growth Across the Southeast Region

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani continues its strong 2026 growth with the addition of four lateral partners, Rebecca Patty, Tivara Paul, Greg Rapisarda, and Timothy Zarsadias, throughout the Southeast region. Their extensive experience and diverse practice areas strengthen the firm’s capabilities nationwide.

“Our expansion throughout the Southeast aligns with the evolving needs of our clients and the continued momentum we’re seeing across the region,” said Peter Siachos, Regional Oversight Partner of GRSM’s Southeast offices. “Strengthening our footprint in cities like Birmingham, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Baltimore allows us to provide local insight while leveraging the full strength of our national platform.”

Rebecca “Beck” Patty has more than 30 years of experience in environmental law, including many years as Assistant Attorney General and Associate General Counsel for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, where she recovered millions of dollars in penalties and financial assurance funds and worked closely with federal enforcement agencies. Patty assisted in depositions and trial preparations for the 2010 case, In re: Oil Spill by the Oil Rig “Deepwater Horizon” in the Gulf of Mexico, in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana. She is admitted to practice in Alabama, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Tivara Paul focuses her practice on insurance and healthcare-related matters, concentrating on complex, high-exposure cases, with extensive experience defending clients through all phases of litigation while also counseling healthcare providers on risk management, regulatory issues, and policy implementation. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and New York.

Greg Rapisarda is an experienced and trusted land use, zoning, and real estate litigation attorney who advises clients on business and real estate development goals. Rapisarda provides clients with day-to-day general counsel and strategic guidance on telecommunications and digital infrastructure development, including wireless towers, fiber crossings, and data centers, and energy expansion projects such as electrical substations, gas pipelines, and renewables. Rapisarda has led development projects in more than 70 jurisdictions and is licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia.

Timothy Zarsadias has more than 20 years of experience managing tort claims, business disputes, and catastrophic injury cases from intake through verdict, combining strong litigation strategy with effective team leadership to achieve efficient workflows, manage risk exposure, and secure million-dollar settlements. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and the U.S. District Court for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina.
