Scott French is an accomplished Associate in the Spokane and Boise offices of GRSM, where he practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Labor, and Employment groups. He represents clients in high-stakes disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, wage-and-hour issues, and product liability, with a focus on helping companies strategically manage risk while advancing their business objectives. His broad background working with both public and private entities across multiple industries equips him to deliver practical, results-driven counsel in complex matters.

Scott’s career reflects a rare combination of courtroom advocacy and transactional sophistication. Prior to joining GRSM, he litigated commercial disputes at a prominent Mountain West law firm, advised on mergers and acquisitions as part of the corporate group of a leading international firm, and honed his trial skills as a deputy public defender in Kootenai County, Idaho. This blend of experience enables him to navigate disputes with both the precision of a litigator and the foresight of a deal lawyer.

He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, one of the nation’s top-ranked law schools, and is admitted to practice in Idaho and Washington, D.C.
