Sebastian Kaplan focuses his practice on complex commercial, intellectual property, and public law disputes, particularly those raising high-stakes appellate matters.

A former federal appellate clerk and seasoned trial attorney, Sebastian has secured successful outcomes for clients in state and federal courts, including reversals on appeal and dispositive trial court rulings. He has first-chaired and second-chaired trials and arbitrations, handled briefing across all stages of litigation, and advised clients on strategic appellate positioning from the earliest phases of a case. His appellate experience spans business torts, fraud claims, trade secret disputes, and public infrastructure matters.

Prior to joining GRSM, Sebastian represented leading technology companies, public entities, and global consumer brands.
