Christie E. Yang is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of GRSM and a member of the Employment Practice Group. Christie’s practice primarily focuses on complex wage and hour disputes, including class actions and PAGA representative actions. Her work also includes litigation of wrongful termination, retaliation, employment discrimination and harassment claims. Christie has defended California employers in both state and federal venues and also provides strategic advice and counseling to employers in various industries on compliance with state and federal laws.
Prior to joining GRSM, Christie worked at a Los Angeles firm that aggressively litigated wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions in state and federal courts.
Christie has earned a certificate for Dispute Resolution from the distinguished Straus Institute and gained experience with corporate formation and governance as a fellow of the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. With a passion for representation, she also served as the Alumni Relations Director of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
