Biography

Fareshteh Hamidi is an Associate in the Oklahoma City office and is a member of the Employment Law, Professional Liability Defense, Insurance, Tort & Product Liability, and Trucking & Transportation practice groups. Fareshteh previously practiced at a defense firm in Oklahoma City focusing on defending health care providers and entities and automobile insurance companies. She has successfully litigated motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss on behalf of health care defendants. She has also published articles on employment law issues and COVID-19-related laws affecting nursing home litigation.

In December 2019, Fareshteh earned a Juris Doctor degree and a Health Law certificate from The University of Tulsa College of Law. While there, she served as an Admissions Ambassador, an Executive Director on the Board of Advocates, and a Staff Editor on the Energy Law Journal, headquartered in Washington, D.C. She also competed on the Native American Law Student Association appellate team at Nationals in Tucson, AZ.

Fareshteh's community involvement includes representing neglected children through the Oklahoma Lawyers for Children organization and serving on the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s Moderns Board for the 2022-2024 term. She is a member of the Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Diversity Committee.
