Meredith Thielbahr is Office Managing Partner of the Inland Northwest region offices of GRSM and has a nationally recognized practice. She has been consistently named a Super Lawyer in both the Construction and Government Contracts fields and a top Government Contracts attorney in the U.S. by Law360. Meredith is licensed in multiple jurisdictions, including Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska and the District of Columbia. Meredith works closely with her corporate clients across multiple industries and service types, including construction, development, real estate, manufacturing, energy, defense, transportation, hospitality, and healthcare.
Meredith represents some of the top contractors in the country utilizing various delivery methods, in addition to some of the nation’s best EPC power contractors and leading utility, transportation and infrastructure companies. She has represented contractors involving the Red Hill Tanks clean-up in Honolulu, the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal Surge Barrier in New Orleans, WSDOT public works projects, construction of public university housing, and multiple environmental remediation contracts at the Hanford site in Washington State. She has also represented numerous Department of Defense contractors resolving claims on military supply and services contracts.
Meredith has significant experience handling high-profile construction site accidents involving fatalities and worker’s injuries. She regularly handles claims involving construction defects to schools, hotels, and other commercial projects, including claims for faulty workmanship, poor or defective materials, design and planning issues, and non-compliance. Meredith represents her contractor clients in delay and termination claims and works with experts to defeat lost profits claims.
