Nelson Rainey is Senior Counsel in the Nashville office of GRSM. He has extensive litigation experience in the areas of General Liability, Real Estate Litigation, Construction, Healthcare Liability, Civil Rights, and Commercial litigation.

As a trial and appellate attorney, Nelson represents numerous companies as well as individual professionals in an array of litigation. He has overseen numerous cases from pre-litigation through the appellate level and his level of experience gives him unprecedented insight and knowledge to anticipate the needs of his clients and provide exceptional, efficient and effective service. Nelson represents clients in both state and federal court throughout the country.

Nelson is a graduate of U.S. Army Sniper School and was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His personal interests outside of law include spending time with his wife and two children, reading, and playing golf.
