Biography

Shaun D. Loughlin is an associate in the Boston office of GRSM.  He is a member of the Construction Practice Group, representing both design professionals and contractors in a variety of complex disputes.  In addition to his construction practice, Mr. Loughlin also has experience representing clients in disputes involving land use issues, commercial leases, unfair/deceptive business practices claims, and anti-SLAPP litigation.  Mr. Loughlin regularly handles disputes from the inception of a claim through to litigation, and also has experience representing clients in both mediation and arbitration, as well as appearing before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

Prior to joining GRSM, Mr. Loughlin worked at a mid-sized law firm in Boston, Massachusetts, representing design professionals in all aspects of civil litigation concerning complex projects such as commercial/residential structures, athletic stadia, subway and railway infrastructure, highway infrastructure, and various types of power plants.

While at the University of Connecticut School of Law, Mr. Loughlin interned for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and served as an Executive Editor for the Connecticut Law Review.
