Patricia Lee-Gulley Installed as President of Orange County Women Lawyers Association

Patricia Lee-Gulley, a partner in the Orange County office, was installed as 2012 President of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association at the organization's recent Holiday Celebration and Installation Dinner.  The event had record-breaking attendance, including more than 20 judicial officers from the Orange County Superior Court and 4th District Appellate Court.

Ms. Lee-Gulley has been a member and on the Board of Directors since 2005.  She was responsible for the creation of the organization's Diversity Bar Stipend Award in 2007, underwritten by Gordon & Rees's Orange County office, which is presented annually to a diverse graduate of an Orange County law school to help defray expenses of studying for the California Bar Exam. 

The OCWLA began in 1975 with five members and now has over 100 members and lifetime members.  In 1979 it became an affiliate organization of the Orange County Bar Association.  Its goals are to support the advancement of women in the legal profession and diversity both on the bench and in law firm partnerships.
