PBS Documentary Filmed in Gordon & Rees Las Vegas Office

The Gordon & Rees Las Vegas office was the setting for an interview with Justice John Paul Stevens for the upcoming PBS documentary “Unexpected Justice: John Paul Stevens.”

The documentary will begin airing this month on the Chicago PBS station, WTTW Channel 11. “This new locally-produced film tells the surprising story of a 1969 corruption scandal that rocked the Illinois judiciary, and launched a little-known Chicago lawyer named John Paul Stevens on the path to the U.S. Supreme Court.” For the firm's role in the documentary, Gordon & Rees is named in the closing credits.

Justice Stevens is a retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States who served from December 19, 1975 to June 29, 2010. At the time of his retirement, he was the the second-oldest serving Justice in the history of the Court and the third longest-serving U.S. Supreme Court Justice in history.
