Gordon & Rees Chicago Attorney Brian Roth Receives Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Distinguished Service Award

On May 17, 2018, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Chicago attorney Brian Roth received the Distinguished Service Award from Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) for his outstanding work with the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for Minors Program at their annual awards ceremony held in Chicago, Illinois.

“Brian has remained dedicated to the Minor GAL Program and to the children he represents,” CVLS said. “Now a veteran GAL, Brian has always been willing to take a new case on when asked, many times leading him to having multiple open cases at once. Brian is always a great source of positivity and CVLS is grateful to Brian for all of his hard-work and his continued dedication and passion to helping the children of Chicago.”

CVLS' mission is to coordinate, support and promote the voluntary pro bono legal representation of the Chicago area's poor and working poor. In 2017, the CVLS completed 3,342 cases. Of those, 1,789 were litigation cases and 81 percent of those cases (1,451) were handled by volunteers.

In Roth's legal practice, he focuses on business, employment, environmental/toxic tort, and product liability litigation. He appears in state and federal courts nationwide and has successful trial experience in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri.
