Lindsey A. Peck Joins Gordon & Rees as Partner in Appellate Practice Group

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Lindsey A. Peck as Partner in the Detroit office. She joins the firm's Appellate Practice Group.

Ms. Peck has extensive experience handling appeals and amicus curiae briefs in state and federal appellate courts, as well as complex motions in state and federal trial courts. She is well-versed not only in appellate practice, but also in general liability, professional liability, municipal liability, and personal injury defense.

“Gordon & Rees has a robust national appellate practice, and Lindsey will give us appellate boots on the ground in yet another jurisdiction,” said Don Willenburg, Appellate Practice Group Co-Chair.

Ms. Peck is the Chair of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel’s Amicus Committee and a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Appellate Practice Section. She has received recognition for excellence in the practice of law from multiple organizations. Michigan Super Lawyers® named her a Rising Star from 2013-2020 and distinguished her as a Super Lawyer from 2022-2023. Best Lawyers® named her One to Watch from 2021-2023. DBusiness Magazine named her a Top Lawyer in Appellate Practice in 2022. And Hour Detroit included her in the list of Top Women Attorneys in Michigan from 2014-2021 and 2023.

Ms. Peck is admitted to practice in Michigan. She earned her law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Gordon & Rees’ appellate lawyers have extensive experience in state and federal courts of appeal throughout the country, including the U.S. Supreme Court. The team includes numerous attorneys who served as law clerks and judicial externs at appellate courts throughout the U.S., and provides capabilities that appellate-only firms do not, such as deep knowledge of the substantive areas in which the firm practices.
