Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only full-service law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Cameron Grant as Co-Managing Partner in the firm's Kansas City office. His transition to the firm bolsters the capabilities of the Kansas City office and strengthens the Commercial Litigation practice group. He is the 9th new partner to join the firm this year.

Mr. Grant has expansive experience in state and federal courts and arbitral forums, having successfully taken numerous cases to trial or final arbitration hearings, and having successfully briefed and argued appeals in the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 2nd, 5th and 8th Circuits, and state courts. He has represented numerous individuals and commercial entities, including employers, law firms, global financial institutions and commercial lenders in all aspects of litigation.

"We are excited to have Cameron join our growing practice in the Kansas City and Kansas markets," said Jay Morris, Managing Partner of the Kansas City office. "He brings a wealth of experience and skill to bolster our ability to serve our clients throughout Kansas and the Western half of Missouri."

Prior to joining GRSM, Mr. Grant tried numerous cases in state courts and before arbitration tribunals; obtained dismissal of employment discrimination claims in Texas and affirmance by the Fifth Circuit; reversal by the Eighth Circuit of a motion that denied his clients’ motion to compel arbitration; affirmance of a U.S. District Court judgment against a national banking association by the Second Circuit; and summary judgments in various cases.

He is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and New York; the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri, Kansas, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Eighth Circuits; and the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his law degree from the New York University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Southern Illinois University.
