Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has welcomed Timothy A. Sullivan III as a Partner in its Wilmington office, further strengthening the firm’s defense bench in Delaware and throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
Sullivan brings more than 20 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on defending manufacturers, suppliers, and premises owners in asbestos, premises liability, and general casualty matters. He represents clients across Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey and serves as national coordinating counsel.
“GRSM’s national reach is a strong fit for my practice,” said Sullivan. “Joining the firm allows me to build on those relationships while working with colleagues across the country to provide consistent, coordinated representation.”
Sullivan has successfully argued before the Delaware Supreme Court and regularly appears in Delaware state and federal courts. His experience includes securing summary judgment in asbestos matters and defending those rulings on appeal.
He also brings substantial law firm leadership experience, having managed a Delaware office for more than 15 years and served as co-managing shareholder of a Pittsburgh office, overseeing operations, client relationships, and litigation strategy.
Sullivan earned his J.D. from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Delaware, District of New Jersey, and District of Pennsylvania.
