Biography

William H. Kleindienst is a trial attorney in the Charleston office of GRSM. He represents businesses in environmental/toxic tort litigation, product liability, commercial litigation, and related litigation. He defends a wide variety of complex environmental/toxic tort claims involving asbestos, talcum powder, product liability, and personal injuries. He has extensive knowledge of defending clients and expert witnesses in the complex environmental/toxic tort litigation in both state and federal court.

William's practice includes providing legal counsel to companies in the personal care industry, transportation, automotive, manufacturing, construction, engineering, real estate, and the public sector. He advises clients on industrial properties that have environmental contaminants, asbestos, and other environmental concerns (including Brownfields, Landfills, and CERCLA) and with the remediation surrounding these properties. He also works in the Business Transaction group advising clients on real estate, M&A, employment, risk, and all facets of corporate compliance.

William attended New York Law School. He was appointed to the Moot Court Board and co-authored the Robert F. Wagner Moot Court Competition. He clerked with the Honorable Devin P. Cohen in the New York, Kings County Civil Courthouse, as well as with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor. In 2008, he lived in Barcelona, Spain and studied art history at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
