Zackary Paal is a Partner in GRSM’s Seattle office. His practice is focused primarily on coordinating litigation as national counsel for an international cement manufacturer; representing real estate owners in litigation; assisting cannabis clients in formation, operations, and litigation; and defending manufacturers, suppliers, and premises owners in personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, mass tort, and general negligence lawsuits.

He assists clients with matters involving contracts, collections, and elder law.

He has experience as national counsel for an international sealing products and chemical pipe manufacturers and has represented product manufacturers, vessel and premises owners, and major shipyards in complex litigation along the West Coast and in Louisiana. Prior to his work in civil litigation, Zackary was a public defender and co-founder and in-house counsel for an international product sourcing and importing company.  

Before becoming a lawyer, Zackary worked for more than a decade providing mental health and substance abuse counseling and social services to at-risk youth and their families.
