Gordon & Rees Partners Lead Panel for National Asian Pacific Bar Association Webinar

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani partners, Avanti Bakane, Rich Green, Brian Middlebrook, and Joe Salvo served as panelists for the National Asian Pacific Bar Association’s (NAPABA) webinar, “Scamming Gone Viral – Maintaining Your Company’s Cyber Hygiene in the Wake of COVID-19,” on Tuesday, March 31.

The webinar focused on the increasing importance of cyber hygiene to a company’s infrastructure in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. This is particularly timely for many businesses as the world’s workforce largely goes remote and shelter-in-place orders are extended. Panelists discussed how scammers are exploiting the public health crisis. They described methods for protecting system safety and integrity and recommended an additional step of requiring vendors to maintain the sensitivity and security of company data.
